F1, training accident for Lance Stroll: misses test in Bahrain
Lance Stroll skips Bahrain tests
Due to an accident during bicycle training, Lance Stroll will be forced to miss pre-season testing scheduled this week in Bahrain. The news was confirmed by the official channels of Aston Martin, which reported the words of the Canadian driver himself.
“I had an unfortunate accident while training on my bike, preparing for the season,” said Stroll, Fernando Alonso’s teammate. “I want to get back behind the wheel as soon as possible and I am looking forward to starting the year with my team. I am determined to recover from this setback as soon as possible.”
Testing in Bahrain will take place from Thursday, Feb. 23 to Saturday, Feb. 25. It will be the only chance to see all 2023 cars on track before the start of the season, which will see the lights go out for the first time next March 5, also at the Sakhir circuit.
