Federica Brignone was honored by the City of La Salle.
A gold and a silver: the World Championships in Courchevel-Meribel were triumphant for Federica Brignone, who before the last World Cup seasonal events returned home to La Salle to spend two days resting and recharging her batteries ahead of the grand finale.
Tgr of Valle d’Aosta reported that the Aosta Valley municipality took the opportunity to pay tribute to its champion by holding a brief ceremony in the council chamber. “It was a sincere testimony of affection, we could not let Federica leave without saying goodbye to her,” Mayor Loris Salice stressed. A proper celebration with the whole village will be held next May to celebrate the two rainbow medals.
