Juve, Allegri sheds light on Chiesa and Pogba’s condition
Massimiliano Allegri spoke on the eve of the Europa League match against Nantes
Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri on the eve of the Europa League challenge against Nantes explained why Federico Chiesa will not be in the match: “Unfortunately, we don’t have him, but we knew that if a player goes 10 months without playing, then he plays, little aches and pains can pop up that condition. Nothing serious, but they slow the path. It would have been harmful to risk him. Without him we cannot play with the three in front, thinking he can last 120′ we need changes with these characteristics.”
Pogba is back in training with the group and seems finally recovered: “I hope to have Pogba available for the derby, if only to have an extra change. He did 30 minutes of training match and his knee was fine, he trained well today as well.”
Against Nantes, experienced players will be essential: “It does not depend only on Di Maria and Paredes. The whole team has to play a fair match as a technical aspect and approach, we will not have to concede what we conceded to them in the first leg.”
