MotoGp, Marc Marquez: “With Joan Mir it will be tough.”

The Catalan driver acknowledges the strength of his partner: “We hope to fight for the top positions”

Joan Mir is undoubtedly a stronger teammate than those had by Marc Marquez over the past few years. The Catalan rider knows this well, and ahead of the start of the MotoGp World Championship he raises his guard: “This is the law of life: there will come a time when a younger teammate will beat you. It happens, that’s the hard side of this sport. My job and my goal is to postpone this moment as late as possible,” are the Honda rider’s words reported by Corsedimoto.

“Obviously when you have a teammate like Joan who has won races and won titles in MotoGP and Moto3, it becomes more difficult. But I welcome this ‘problem,’ because it means we will both be fighting for the top positions.”
