I felt pain in the same muscle where I had my last injury, although I still tried to play to the best of my ability.”

Alcaraz succumbed to Norrie in three sets: after winning the first 7-5, the Murcian was outlasted 4-6 in the second set and 5-7 in the deciding fraction.
