Sarri’s Lazio goes through in Naples, Vecino in goal

Lazio, led by former Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri, won at the home of the partenopei: the decider was a goal scored by Vecino.
In the first half Napoli tried to make themselves dangerous but Lazio defended neatly and risked little. Indeed, it is the guests who have the best chance, but Vecino’s header finds Di Lorenzo in the way, who foils the threat. Halfway through the second half it is the Uruguayan former Inter player who unlocks the result, with a first-intention conclusion that leaves Meret no chance. The Azzurri reacted and Osimhen hit the crossbar before Provedel overcame Di Lorenzo. In the final Milinkovic-Savic does not go far from doubling the score. The result, however, does not change anymore.
