Sergio Scariolo blunt after drubbing: “Better to forget”

Obviously very disappointed Virtus Bologna coach Sergio Scariolo after the drubbing in Istanbul: Fenerbahce scrambled the Felsinians with a score of 104-72. “There is little to say,” he admits, “Fenerbahce was much better than us and I want to congratulate them, coach Itoudis and all of them. They shot incredibly well and showed that they are legitimately a Final Four team. We were not able to do what was necessary to slow them down but I think on nights like these very few teams would have been able to do that.”

“Better forget this game quickly because we have a series of very tough games ahead of us between the league and Euroleague, we need to learn from our mistakes, move on and think about the next one,” Scariolo added.
