Pisa recovers Palermo’s lead in the finale
The match between Pisa and Palermo for the 28th day of Serie B ends in a draw that serves little purpose for either, as the Rosanero remain on the fringes of the playoff zone, while the Tuscans miss the chance to hook Sudtirol in fourth place in the standings.
In the first half the visiting team plays better. On the half-hour mark a penalty kick was awarded to the Sicilians for a foul by Estevez but Brunori was hypnotized by Nicolas, who managed to deny the lead by parrying the shot from the penalty spot. Six minutes later, the match was unblocked thanks to Verre’s through ball for Di Mariano, who slotted past the Tuscans’ goalkeeper with an elegant lob.
In the second half, the guests continued to push, even managing to find the doubling goal with Tutino, which, however, was cancelled out for offside. The Tuscans in minute 86 managed to find the equalizer thanks to a great shot from outside the box by Sibilli.
