Sbk, Alvaro Bautista beats Toprak Razgatlioglu in Mandalika

Race 1 of the Indonesian Motul Round valid for the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship at the Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit goes to Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) who thus celebrates his fourth consecutive seasonal success. Bautista in the early stages gives life to a nice head-to-head with Toprak Razgatlioglu (Pata Yamaha Prometeon WorldSBK) who had always won so far on this track.

Bautista in the first five laps is behind Toprak Razgatlioglu (Pata Yamaha Prometeon WorldSBK) but then overtakes him in turn 15 and takes the lead. Razgatlioglu tries to retaliate but Axel Bassani (Motocorsa Racing) manages to pass him in turn 10 only to be passed in turn by the 2021 world champion.

For Bautista and Ducati, this is the first victory at Mandalika. Ducati now boasts 396 wins in WorldSBK.
