Sofia Goggia vents her happiness on social media

After her second place in Kvitfjell, which gave her the joy of her fourth career Downhill Cup, Sofia Goggia posted a vide on her Instagram profile: “4 is not for everyone: the red bib I won in November 2020 and it will definitely be mine again at least until the first race of next season.”

“Out of the 8 descents I competed in this year I won 5, in 1 I fell and in the other 2 I took second place. I would say it was a very good season and the downhill of the finals is still missing. i am very happy but focus on tomorrow’s SuperG. Kisses!” concluded the very strong Bergamasque.

Goggia also allowed some jokes to RTL: “I am not so satisfied with today’s race that was affected by the weather, especially the wind that came and went. Although I don’t take excuses I have to say that I caught some crazy gusts of wind. I was quite lucky, although I couldn’t be as soft as I was in practice. I was a little less loose.
