F1, Horner doesn’t budge: “Never take anything for granted”
Red Bull, since the first race, has confirmed itself as the team to beat thanks to a first and second place recorded by its drivers. However, as we read in Formula Passion, despite the incredible results, team principal Christian Horner did not want to get too open about the continuation of the season.
“You never know. We have a good data set for this track, so we can’t take anything for granted. We’re off to a very good start, but we’ll have to wait for Jeddah and Melbourne to start getting some answers. Once we have two or three circuits under our belt, we will have a better picture of the strengths and weaknesses of our car and our opponents,” began the Briton
“The first race is always full of nervousness, as it is the first time racing with two cars and there are several things that can go wrong. It was a phenomenal performance by the whole team. We were able to be able to vary the strategy from the others by using the softer compound because of the good ability to manage the tire. After last year, where we didn’t score any points in Sakhir, having 43 already is very positive ahead of Jeddah,” Horner concluded about the first race weekend.
