At the close of the twenty-sixth round of the Serie A championship, Sports Judge Gerardo Mastandrea, assisted by Stefania Ginesio and AIA Representative Carlo Moretti, ruled disqualification for five players (one of whom, Roma’s Kumbulla, was suspended for two turns and fined) and financial penalties for Inter, Spezia and Bologna.
DISQUALIFIED: PLAYERS SENT OFF
Two actual days and a fine of € 5,000: KUMBULLA Marash (Roma): for having, at the 47th minute of the first half, with play in progress, with the ball in the hands of his own goalkeeper, kicked a player from the opposing team in the leg.
PLAYERS NOT SENT OFF
One actual day: GIROUD Olivier Jonatha (AC Milan): for improper conduct on the field; already cautioned (Fifth penalty); RINCON HERNANDEZ Toma Eduardo (Sampdoria): for improper conduct toward an opponent; already cautioned (Fifth penalty); TRESSOLDI NETTO Ruan (Sassuolo): for misconduct toward an opponent; already warned (Fifth penalty); VECINO FALERO Matias (Lazio): for misconduct toward an opponent; already warned (Fifth penalty).
PENALTIES TO CLUBS
Fine of € 8,000.00: to Soc. INTERNAZIONALE for having its supporters, during the course of the match, thrown numerous half-filled plastic bottles into the sector occupied by the opposing fans, without hitting anyone; penalty mitigated ex art. 29, paragraph 1 letter b) CGS. Fine of € 5,000.00: to Soc. SPEZIA for having its supporters, during the course of the match, throwing into the sector occupied by the opposing fans a number of semi-full plastic bottles, without hitting anyone; penalty mitigated ex art. 29, paragraph 1 lett. b) CGS. Fine of € 2,000.00: to Soc. BOLOGNA for having its supporters, at the 20th minute of the first half, throw a flare into the playing area; penalty reduced pursuant to art. 29, paragraph 1 letter b) CGS.
