Milan-San Remo, favorite Tadej Pogacar invites rivals to step forward

Slovenian outfielder is the number one favorite to win

The Milan-San Remo is being raced today. Pogacar is the big favorite for the overall victory, along with Van Aert who did so well at Tirreno Adriatico. The Slovenian does not seem worried, in fact he is looking forward to facing his rivals.

“I know they’ll attack me, but I’m used to it by now, we’ll see how I feel in the race, it might even turn out to be an advantage from a certain point of view… For sure as a team we want to win, no matter how,” his clear words to Gazzetta dello Sport. A quip also about Van Aert: “I saw that he went really strong at Tirreno, he is back in shape after training at altitude: he is a great rival.”
