MotoGp: Marc Marquez’s first crazy pole, then Bagnaia and the Ducatis

Marc Marquez will start ahead of everyone in Portugal

Honda centaur Marc Marquez took the first pole of the season in Portimao, where the Portuguese Grand Prix will be held on Sunday. The Honda rider, after coming through Q1, surprisingly signed the fastest lap in 1:37.226, setting the track record.He will start ahead of everyone in both the Sprint Race scheduled for the afternoon and Sunday’s race.

Behind him are the two Ducatis of Pecco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin, then the KTMs of Oliveira and Miller. Enea Bastianini is sixth, in the 10 also Bezzecchi and Marini.

In Q1 Marc Marquez dominated: the Honda rider, who used the wake of teammate Mir, printed the track record in 1:37.675. Qualifying in Q2 with him was KTM rider Miguel Oliveira. Ducati rider Alex Marquez will start from 13th position, Morbidelli 17th.

In Q2 once again Jack Miller surprised everyone by putting himself in front after the first run and signing the new extraordinary track record of 1:37.549. The Australian then crashed and was unable to make the second run. In the second run, Bagnaia took the lead, setting a crazy time of 1’37″290. The pole seemed assured but Marquez mocked everyone at the last attempt, taking advantage of Bastianini’s wake.
