Marc Marquez’s situation gets complicated again
New problem for Marc Marquez, this time in the form of communication from the commissioners. Many thought that the Spanish rider, protagonist of a very careless maneuver against Miguel Oliveira in Portugal, would avoid serving the penalty imposed on him (double pass in the ‘Long Lap’ area) by not participating in the Argentine Grand Prix scheduled for next weekend. This will not be the case.
The commissioners of the International Motorcycle Federation (FIM) have made it clear that the punishment imposed on the Honda rider will be triggered in the next race in which he will be able to participate. In all likelihood it should happen in Austin, if, as it seems, Marquez will return to the track at the Grand Prix that is scheduled for the weekend of April 14-16.
An added complication for the rider from Cervera, since the Circuit de las Américas is one of the circuits where he has won the most in MotoGp along with the Sachsenring.
