Olivier Giroud and AC Milan continue together
The sporting marriage between AC Milan and Olivier Giroud will continue until at least 2024: this is the outcome of the meeting between the footballer’s entourage and representatives of the Rossoneri club, who according to reports from ‘Sky Sport’ have reached a verbal agreement to extend the contract expiring in June by at least one year, with an option to continue into 2024/25 as well.
Giroud will also see his wages tweaked, rising from 3.5 to 3.8 million euros annually. Milan’s is an important move, taking pressure off the management, which, meanwhile, is discussing another big-name renewal, that of Rafael Leao.
