Aprilia centaur Maverick Viñales commented on his seventh-place finish in the MotoGp Sprint Race: “I didn’t notice the broken wing, I touched with others 7-8 times, I’m happy to have made this result, I’m sorry I couldn’t attack Pecco.”

“I had a hard time turning and stopping on the right and then at the end I saw and said ‘c…, I’m missing a wing.’ With the wing it would have been a different race, I could have turned in 39 low or 38. On the start we have to improve and we are working on that. It was really difficult to stop the bike and make it turn, with this handicap it went really well. Sunday’s race? We have to start up front like we did in Portimao, and go away.”
