Luca Marini’s regrets: “I should have changed the bike sooner.”
A good qualification, in which, however, there is no shortage of regrets.
Luca Marini qualified seventh for the Sprint Race at the Argentine Grand Prix, in a session that saw teammate Marco Bezzecchi snatch a sensational second place instead. However, Valentino Rossi’s brother admitted that in turn getting an even better result would have been possible, but the strategy could have been even more effective.
“I’m happy with the sensations in the wet, but in terms of timing I wasn’t perfect,” Luca Marini admitted. “I came back a lap later to change the bike and I wasn’t able to take full advantage of the dry tire in the last attempt.
“For the Sprint we have to wait and see the weather, many of the fastest riders with the best pace start behind,” Marini concluded in his analysis of the Argentine Grand Prix qualifying.
