Fabio Quartararo sends a clear message

If already in Portugal the signs had been anything but encouraging, Fabio Quartararo also did not start off on the right foot in Argentina: his 14th time in Friday’s combined time will force him to go through Q1, and the internal challenge with teammate Franco Morbidelli also sees him at a disadvantage, with the Italian-Brazilian instead gaining direct access to Q2 thanks to 9th place in the overall standings of the two free practice sessions.

To Yamaha’s official channels, ‘El Diablo’ expressed all his disappointment, sending a clear message: “It was a bad day. The feeling with the bike would not even be bad, but there are many things to work on. The corner speed is the worst aspect, it’s the thing I miss the most. We have to figure out what’s going on, because we haven’t changed much.”

“I really hope to be able to understand the reason for these difficulties,” Quartararo added. “I expected to do better, last year we were faster on this same track.
