Messina’s words after the loss to Reyer Venezia

Ettore Messina commented on the home loss to Reyer Venezia, a match valid for the 24th day of the championship: “Unfortunately, we failed to pay tribute to a legendary coach who made the history of our club. For all that this day meant we would have cared to play a better match and obviously win it.”

“Obviously, there would be so much to say now, but it’s better to lock ourselves in the gym and work. The less we talk the better. It’s too bad because after the performance with Bayern that the public had appreciated by showing us, we have strung together a series of four consecutive very bad matches. Beyond fatigue I cannot rationally explain it. I am obviously concerned. But right now it’s a matter of locking ourselves in the gym and working to regain our balance,” Messina cut short.
