Yet another physical problem in blue’s difficult season
There is no peace for Datome. In the challenge, lost, against Reyer Venezia, the 35-year-old red and white player once again had to deal with bad luck. For the azure, only five minutes on the court for two total points.
The problem? Coach Messina explained it in the post match: “Datome has not returned due to an ankle injury.” It wouldn’t seem anything serious but, undoubtedly, it’s yet another physical problem in season for Datome who, since last summer, has always had to live with some setback, especially physical (he has also been out for weeks due to a virus). Bad moment for Datome. Coach Messina’s hope is to have him at the top for the playoffs.
