Virtus Bologna-Euroleague, Alessandro Abbio has no doubts

Alessandro Abbio gave an interesting interview to ‘Il Resto del Carlino’ in which he talked about Virtus Bologna, both in the league and in the Euroleague.

On not qualifying for the playoffs in the Euroleague he said, “I think the team paid the price with injuries. Abass was out at the beginning and is knocked out now. Cordinier has been out for almost two months. Then there is the age of Belinelli, who is doing exceptional things. And that of the professor, namely Teodosic.”

Although Abbio does not see the possibility of a Euroleague without Virtus: “Few stories. On the contrary, thanks to its history Virtus deserves to stay there. Finally he analyzed the fight for the Scudetto: “Hard to say now. Virtus so many injured. I want to see it full. So does Milan. Although … I can’t help thinking about Teodosic. Milos is someone who changes the balance on the court.”
