MotoGp, Pecco Bagnaia wants to chase away the ghosts
MotoGp, Pecco Bagnaia clear: “I hope to put the fall behind me and return to compete for victory”
In a note released to Ducati’s official channels, Pecco Bagnaia returned to talk about the Termas de Rio Hondo weekend and identified his goals ahead of the Austin GP. “I am happy to be back on track in Austin. The Gp of the Americas is one of my favorite circuits and the track is very special. We have always been quite fast in the past and I think we can do well again this year. I am still disappointed about the crash in Argentina, but I hope to put it behind me as soon as possible and get back to competing for victory in the races on Saturday and Sunday,” these are the words of the reigning world champion.
Michele Pirro, who will replace the injured Bastianini, also spoke on the next stage of the MotoGP: “I am sorry that Enea cannot take part in the GP. He cared a lot about it and has been working hard with rehabilitation, but he is still not 100%.”
“I will try to do my best for the team. I only raced here once in 2016, when I replaced Petrucci. I don’t have any particular ambitions, but the goal is to improve session after session and try to be as close as possible to the leaders in the race,” added the Ducati test rider.
