Gedeone Carmignani outspoken about Parma’s turnaround
Parma, Carmignani categorical: “The team is ready to face the playoffs as a protagonist”
During an interview with the microphones of “SportParma,” former Parma coach Gedeone Carmignani spoke about the recent outings of the Ducali and the turnaround they had, which has brought Pecchia’s team into the middle of the playoff zone.
“The challenge at Braglia leaves some regrets because we could have dared more and brought home the three points. Parma was not very present at the beginning this affected the performance. In the second half, however, I saw a more authoritative team. With the changes Pecchia tried to win, adding more technical content to the starting eleven,” began the former coach of the Crusaders.
“The last few outings have shown that the boys are in a good psycho-physical condition. We are seeing a continuity that wasn’t there before and now I think the team is mentally ready to play the playoffs as a protagonist. Parma is equipped to win and return to Serie A and is showing that it has the potential to do so. However, in this Serie B there is a lot of uncertainty and every match will have to be approached with maximum attention,” added Carmignani.
