Damon Hill urges Max Verstappen to quit

Damon Hill on the Sky Sports F1 podcast had his say on the future of Max Verstappen, who has even threatened a farewell to Formula 1.

“I think he doesn’t want to waste his time on superfluous things that are really just made up to give news. I can imagine him saying that just because he thinks he’s only racing in F1 to win grand prix, because he doesn’t want to do a poor race, which doesn’t make a resume. People will ask you how many grand prix you won, not how many Sprints you took home. Max’s threat of retirement is very unusual, it was strange to hear. He should stop now, really. Sometimes I think he is not having fun. I think you have to love what you do, otherwise it’s a struggle.”
