“I regret braking Luca when he was little, unlike Valentino…”

Luca Marini’s first MotoGp podium in Austin was also welcomed by his mother Stefania Palma, who in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport pointed out a difference between the VR46 team centaur and his older brother Valentino Rossi.

“I only regret one thing… When he was little I kind of held him back, not to say hindered, because Luca has always been passionate, very convinced of his choices.” Luca wanted to follow in his brother Valentino’s footsteps, and in the end he got it.

“Twenty years of difference between the two? They are also my 20 years of maturity. With Valentino I was young and much less agitated; today I am much more apprehensive. I also would have liked to go to Austin, however, I will be in Jerez.”
