Olimpia Milano, Stavropoulos has no doubts about Ettore Messina’s future

Olimpia Milano general manager Christos Stavropoulos spoke to Greek television station ERT, shedding light on the future of coach Ettore Messina.

“Definitely it has been a very difficult year with a lot of misfortunes,” Stavropoulos began. “We lost important players from the very beginning of the season and this was decisive for our path in the EuroLeague. We trained with all our players for the first time only three weeks ago.”

He then dismissed any doubts about Ettore Messina’s future: “Now we are looking at the Italian league, we are not done yet. Ettore Messina will be the coach of EA7 Emporio Armani Milano again next season, he has a contract.”
