F1, Max Verstappen puts a prestigious record in his sights
F1, Max Verstappen wants to achieve an important record
Over the weekend in Baku, Red Bull driver Max Verstappen returned to talk about his ambitions and his future in Formula 1. “I don’t know what will happen between now and 2028, but I think the decision on whether or not to stay will depend on how competitive the car will be and the opportunities that will present themselves to me both on the track and outside the Circus. If I have the single-seater to do that then I will also try to win seven or eight world titles, but if not I would still be happy,” these are the words of the Red Bull driver as can be read in “Formula Passion.”
Later, on his future, the two-time World Champion reiterated his intention to want to try new challenges from World Endurance to Wec to E-Sports, his other great passion.
Finally quoting fellow driver Fernando Alonso, the Dutchman would not close the door on a possible return to F1 after trying new experiences, just as the Aston Martin driver did.
