MotoGp, Pecco Bagnaia open-hearted about Casey Stoner
MotoGp, Pecco Bagnaia: “I would like my name to be identified even more with that of Ducati”
During an interview given to the microphones of “Motorsport,” Ducati rider Pecco Bagnaia among other topics spoke about the comparison with Casey Stoner, with whom he shares the fact that he won a world title with the Borgo Panigale-based team.
“It’s very difficult for me to see my name next to Casey’s. When you’re little and you see your idols, you think it’s impossible to achieve what they mean to you. I know that I won the title with Ducati like he did, and that I won the record of consecutive victories (four), however, for me it is very complicated to think that I can compare myself to him,” the reigning champion explained.
“Since childhood I have been one of the biggest Ducati fans. Someday I would like my name to become even more identified with the team’s name. A bit like what happened for Marquez with Honda and Valentino Rossi with Yamaha,” added Pecco Bagnaia.
