Tension at Bernabeu, Haaland dad fights and is escorted out
Tension at the Bernabeu
As was after all predictable there was much tension at the Santiago Bernabeu, where the first leg of the Champions League semifinal match between Real Madrid and Manchester City was staged on Tuesday night.
Among those who did not flinch was Alf-Inge Haaland, a former good footballer and father of Erling, bomber of Pep Guardiola’s team. The man got into an altercation with some home fans and was then escorted out of the facility that hosts matches for Carlo Ancelotti’s Whites.
In the past, Haaland junior has seen his own name approached by Real Madrid: should there be a new negotiation, already in itself obviously very complex, it could start uphill.
