Marc Marquez, Giacomo Agostini doesn’t mince words

Giacomo Agostini, asked by ‘Marca’ about Marc Marquez’s role in MotoGP after the long series of injuries and controversies in recent weeks, has no doubts about the added value of the Honda centaur in the current MotoGp context.

“Marquez is someone who puts on a show in the race,” said the 15-time MotoGP champion. I don’t say it, everyone sees it: he puts on a show and is passionate, a lot. It’s nice to see these riders fighting to win, that’s what you have to give the public.”

“Ours is a show and the public needs to be given a show,” Agostini explained. “To do that you need two, three, four riders capable of winning. Marc Marquez, Bagnaia, Quartararo, Bastianini and also others are there to succeed.”
