Dinamo Sassari, Piero Bucchi keeps guard up and restarts with a certainty
Piero Bucchi spurs his team ahead of game-3
Filed the wide success of game-2 that brought the series against Reyer Venezia to a tie, Dinamo Sassari coach Piero Bucchi asks his team to keep their guard up and replicate the level of concentration shown Monday at Taliercio.
“The most important thing is that we played a game with great sacrifice from everyone,” Bucchi said in the press conference. “Resetting must be a constant, game 2 is over, another battle awaits us. You can’t stay on the mistake but you have to do everything to bring the next game home.”
The certainty from which to restart is the team spirit shown in game 2: “I really liked Diop’s interview at the end of the game in which he praised Stephens, it’s a beautiful signal for him but also for the group that shows that we are a united and close-knit team.”
“We face this game with confidence, aware that it will be a team that will try to overturn the court factor,” Bucchi added. “We have built our certainties throughout the season. Reyer has, after Bologna and Milan, the longest roster in the league, the way it is built it has the weapons to bring home a good result, it manages to find resources even without Watt.”
