Former MotoGp centaur Marco Melandri in an interview with Adnkronos spoke out on the 2023 World Championship: “This MotoGp World Championship is unpredictable and that’s also the beauty of racing, but on paper I think Bagnaia is the favorite, because apart from anything else he seems to me the most complete. Bezzecchi is very strong but in the distance I think Bagnaia will come out and also Ducati will definitely work to make the factory team prevail.”

On Pecco Bagnaia new Valentino Rossi, Marco Melandri has his say: “I don’t think he can be, of Valentino there is one every 50 years maybe. Bagnaia, even if he wins as much as Valentino, for me he can never reach the charisma, personality and following of Rossi.”
