World number one Carlos Alcaraz wanted to express all his support for Rafael Nadal, who was forced to skip Roland Garros due to physical problems that have not yet been resolved.
“Good luck Rafa! It’s very sad for everyone to know that you can’t be at Roland-Garros and that you can’t continue playing this year. I hope 2024 will be a great season for you and that you can retire like the great champion you are!” is the message Alcaraz sent to his compatriot on Twitter.
Nadal has won Roland Garros 14 times in his career.
