Spal, Massimo Oddo issues a warning to Pisa
Massimo Oddo’s statements ahead of Pisa-Spal
On the eve of the match with Pisa, Spal coach Massimo Oddo spoke at a press conference to analyze a match that will count for little in terms of standings, as the Estensi are already mathematically relegated.
“A dangerous match awaits us. We will try to give our best for the respect of the jersey. There is a need to close with dignity also for the respect of the championship, because Pisa, unlike us, is still in the running to play something important and out of fairness to the other teams fighting with the Nerazzurri we will try to do our best,” said the Estensi’s coach.
Later Oddo returned to relegation: “There is not much point in talking now about the dynamics that led to this negative result. Today it is important for everyone to take responsibility. It is the best thing to do out of respect for the fans and the city. I am here to take responsibility, and I have no problem admitting that although we put time and effort into a goal we were not up to it. I do not want to judge anyone, but only wish the best to this square where great things can be done.”
