Roma, Europa League: disqualification reduced for Salvatore Foti
Roma’s appeal against the three-day disqualification of Jose Mourinho’s deputy Salvatore Foti has been partially upheld by UEFA’s disciplinary committee. The disqualification was reduced from three to two turns, so Foti can be on the Giallorossi bench in the May 31 Europa League final against Sevilla.
Foti had been disqualified for “an assault on another player,” in the return match with Feyenoord at the Stadio Olimpico, when the Special One’s deputy was ejected for a handful to Gimenez near the Giallorossi’s technical area.
