Matteo Berrettini out of Roland Garros
Matteo Berrettini will also miss Roland Garros, after missing the Internazionali d’Italia and the Madrid Masters 1000. The Italian has not yet recovered from the abdominal injury he sustained in Monte Carlo.
This was announced by the Roman tennis player himself via an Instagram story posted on his profile. “I am making good progress with my rehabilitation and can’t wait to get back to competing. I won’t be ready in time for Paris, so my return will be on grass at the Stuttgart Open,” the Italian number three wrote on Instagram.
In his place on the scoreboard Fabio Fognini enters.
