Milan-Sampdoria, the probable formations

Saturday’s 36th Serie A matchday closes with the challenge between Milan and Sampdoria. Kickoff at 8:45 p.m. at the Giuseppe Meazza. The Rossoneri after the elimination in the Champions League against Inter, must immediately raise their heads again to hope to still reach a place among the top four. The blucerchiati, already relegated, have nothing more to ask but to finish the championship with dignity.

Pioli must rely again on Giroud at the center of the attack, given the unavailability of Rebic and Origi. Behind the French bomber will be Leao, Brahim Diaz and Saelemaekers. In defense Kjaer is favored to flank Tomori, on the flanks space for Calabria and Theo Hernandez.

Stankovic should confirm Quagliarella up front: with him will be Gabbiadini, with Djuricic in support. On the flanks trust Zanoli and Augello, while the defense will be headed by Nuytinck.

Likely lineups.

MILAN (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Hernandez; Tonali, Krunic; Saelemaekers, Diaz, Leao; Giroud. All. Pioli

SAMPDORIA (3-4-1-2): Ravaglia; Gunter, Nuytinck, Amione; Zanoli, Winks, Rincon, Augello; Djuricic; Gabbiadini, Quagliarella. All. Stankovic
