Genoa, an old acquaintance pops up for attack
Genoa, backfiring for Krzysztof Piatek
Genoa, after finishing the cadet championship in the best possible way, is already at work ahead of the next Serie A season. The Rossoblù management, in fact, is reportedly already sounding out several profiles to reinforce the squad available to Alberto Gilardino.
According to reports from “La Gazzetta dello Sport,” one name that is gaining momentum would be that of Krzysztof Piatek, who in all likelihood will not be redeemed by Salernitana. For the Pole, it would be a return to Genoa after the extraordinary 2018-2019 season. However, the Grifone will have to deal with several competitors, including Udinese.
Before the incoming market, Genoa’s priority would be to armor Alberto Gilardino, who has reportedly already been offered a contract extension until 2024 with an option for the next two seasons.
