Giro d’Italia: Zana wins 18th stage
The 18th stage of the Giro d’Italia was won by Filippo Zana. The Jayco AlUla rider burns Pinot in a sprint on the finish line in Val di Zoldo, in the first stage in the Dolomites. New blue success after that of Alberto Dainese on Wednesday: it is the fourth in total, in the 106th edition of the Giro.
In third place is another Frenchman, Warren Barguil, of the Arkea-Samsic team. The pink jersey always remains on the shoulders of Geraint Thomas, but of note is the overtaking, in second position, of Primoz Roglic, against Joao Almeida in the general classification.
