“Personally I am very satisfied, but I can understand that many do not see it that way. It has been a season with a very very high evaluation of Atalanta, there has been controversy at every draw or defeat, even at less wide victories than in the past. Instead it has been a very difficult championship for everyone except Napoli. We have always been, from the first day until today, in the top zone of the standings, and this is not so due in my opinion. I don’t make miracles. I have an extraordinary relationship with the club, not only because of the results obtained, but because of a mutual gratitude and respect. There will never be a conflict. Then there is soccer and there can be different visions, which I always respect. But it’s clear that when you find yourself out of place, you ask questions: this year is like that, it may be time. But it is something we will evaluate together, with the usual affection.”
