Golden Gala 2023: first historic Diamond League victory for Larissa Iapichino
Historic day at the Golden Gala 2023 for Larissa Iapichino. The Italian jumper, in fact, won her first victory in the long jump in the Diamond League. The class of 2002 athlete recorded an excellent 6.79 in the first jump and then managed to maintain the lead over American Davis-Woodhall and Ukrainian Bekh-Romanchuk until the end of the competition.
The fourth leg of the Diamond League is scheduled for January 9 in Paris at the Charléty Stadium.
