Roland Garros: Lorenzo Musetti puts on a show with Cameron Norrie and goes to the round of 16
With an impressive display of tennis talent that almost no one in the world currently possesses, Lorenzo Musetti, world number 18, gives up only seven games to Britain’s Cameron Norrie, number 13, beating him by a score of 6-1 6-2 6-4 in two hours and eight minutes, advancing to the Roland Garros round of 16 for the second time in his career.
The first time was two years ago, when Musetti, after winning the first two sets both on tie-break against Novak Djokovic, literally collapsed so much that he had to retire at the beginning of the fifth set. This time, too, he will have a very difficult task because he will find the winner of the evening match between the world number 1, Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, and Canadian Denis Shapovalov, the loose cannon of the men’s circuit.
