Zlatan Ibrahimovic says no to Monza and retirement for now
Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s words.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has no intention of retiring: “Do I think about quitting? I don’t think so. Should I continue playing? I think so.”
The Swede thinks only of AC Milan, much to the annoyance of Adriano Galliani: “He has been calling me every day for three years, always telling me that Monza is beautiful, that there is a beautiful nature and that there is already a contract on the table. But we are not there: I am an AC Milan player and I am proud to be one. At a certain age there is no more ego, you don’t need to prove yourself. I am here to help Milan, not like now. I want to be on the field, I can help a lot more there.”
“I’m fine at Milan, Milan is my home,” Ibra continued, “About my contract I don’t know anything, last year I told Maldini, ‘you do it.’ And I got a paper to sign. I don’t know what’s in it, maybe there’s another year. It’s enough for me to know I’m an AC Milan player and then I know what I have to do, the rest doesn’t matter. I only care about getting back on the field, otherwise the joy diminishes. I still have desire, but balance is needed.”
