Ferrari disaster, Leclerc second-to-last: “I have no answers”
Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc will start just second-to-last on the grid in the Spanish Grand Prix scheduled for Sunday. The Monegasque driver, who was eliminated immediately in Q1, had huge difficulties with set-up in Barcelona qualifying, and was probably affected by a technical problem.
Leclerc spoke to Sky this way after yet another disappointment, “I would be surprised if the car is okay. There was something wrong, this morning in the same conditions we were fine. There was something on the right rear, I was struggling to make left turns. Tomorrow we have to get back to a good feeling to get back to the front. I have no answers, I have to look at the data. I would be really surprised, the feeling was different from what we have had since the beginning of the year. I almost put it on the wall at 60 mph, we have to look because something doesn’t add up for me.”
Ferrari in Barcelona had brought important updates, but something did not go right and will be looked at in the coming hours.
