Milan joins the race for former Borussia Dortmund man

After finalizing the renewal of Rafael Leao and the purchase of Daichi Kamada, AC Milan would already be working to strengthen the squad available to Stefano Pioli. The Rossoneri management, in fact, would be probing several profiles both young and experienced.

According to reports from the “Corriere dello Sport,” the “Diavolo” would join the race for Ilkay Gundogan, who will expire his contract with Manchester City at the end of the season. On the player, however, there would already be Barcelona for quite some time.

Milan, at present, would seem to be at a disadvantage against the Catalan club, but the possible exclusion of the Spanish Champions from European competitions could make a difference on the player’s decision. The possibility of renewal with the Citizens has also not gone away for Gundogan.
