Just days before the Champions League final in Istanbul, Inter’s outside back Federico Dimarco spoke in a press conference ahead of the anticipated match against Manchester City.

“It’s not every day that you get to play in the Champions League final, and to play it as a star player is something incredible. As a team we are proud and very happy with this achievement that we deserved on the field. Winning this trophy is a dream, for them it’s an obsession,” Dimarco said, quoting the same phrases of Jose Mourinho on the eve of the semifinal against Barcelona in 2010, the year of the Nerazzurri Triplete.

On Haaland: “It doesn’t stop with defense alone. We are a strong team and we proved it during our journey to the final. We have to do Inter, use pride and strength: if we do Inter we can take satisfaction. We have to throw our heart over the obstacle.”
