Tragedy in motorcycles, Raul Torras dead on Isle of Man.

New tragedy on the Isle of Man: in the first Supertwin race of the Tourist Trophy 2023, Spaniard Raul Torras Martinez died in a crash. The 46-year-old centaur, who had debuted in the Tourist Trophy in 2017 and was therefore a very experienced rider, crashed on the third and final lap between the 16th and 17th miles of the long track.

This is the note from the organizers: “It is with great sadness that we confirm the loss of Raul Torras Martinez as a result of an accident on the last lap of today’s Supertwin Race. Our deepest condolences go out to Raul’s family and friends. He was an incredibly popular member of our paddock. He had an infectious smile and an obvious love for the TT that was evident to anyone who was fortunate enough to meet him. We lose a passionate and spirited gentleman. His loss will be deeply felt by the entire TT community.”
