Inter is betting big on Carlos Augusto: challenge to Juve

Inter is pressing Monza for left-back Carlos Augusto, among the best performers in the role in Serie A this season. The Nerazzurri, according to Sky reports, have reportedly inquired about the Brazilian full-back: Beppe Marotta and Simone Inzaghi want to protect themselves in case of a farewell of Robin Gosens (in the crosshairs of some Bundesliga clubs).

The Meneghina club has reportedly been in contact with the Brazilian player’s agents for some time now to get ahead of the competition. Other suitors include Juventus, which has been approached by the full-back in recent months. Carlo Augusto is valued at around 25 million euros and has a contract expiring in 2024.
