Luca Marini despite the injury to the place managed to close on Friday at Mugello with the tenth time.

“A fantastic finish: despite the difficulties (I have much more pain than I had budgeted) I hit the Q2 target. After the first free practice, I was very sore. I had to make some adjustments on the grips and on the position on the handlebars to better cope with the second session. I also put extra protection in the glove, and although it is not easy to ride like that, I had a great ride in the final. A time attack of ignorance that perhaps does not then reflect my actual real potential over the distance. Let’s make the most of these hours for therapy and physio and figure out my condition tomorrow morning.”
